House inspection

Tidying and clieaning the house properly sometimes seems never ending. But now it’s done, and the bank’s rep for the property department can come. We are getting the house valued, pre buying, and I have been frantically running around preparing our pride and joy to be photographed and scrutinised. I mean, what if I know someone who works in the office? Are they going to sit and laugh back at the office at our house not looking up to scratch? I don’t think so. Now it is so tidy that we probably won’t have to do any house work for the next couple of weeks. Maybe.

I got a Mother’s Day card on my email today, from my stepson. “To the best second mum in the world”. How can you not melt at that? If you’re reading K, that was so special and made me so happy! 

Looking forward to a short week at work, with one day spent in the capital city. I am going for work, but am most looking forward to spending the afternoon with S, as I probably wrote in my other blog. Better book those plane tickets, actually.
